Chinese tech giant, Realme has launched a new GT series handset, the GT Neo 3, in China. It starts at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 23,900) for the base 6GB/128GB model with 80W fast-charging, while the 150W variant starts at CNY 2,599 (around Rs. 31,100). The smartphone will go on sale from March 30. The handset is expected to arrive in other markets including India in the coming days.
Realme GT Neo 3 is the first smartphone with 150W fast-charging support. Its launch today is expected to mark the beginning of a revolution in charging technology. The device is tailor-made for gaming with features such as 4D Game vibration, 'Diamond Ice Core Cooling Plus' that increases heat dissipation area, and 3D tempered VC area for thermal management.
The Realme GT Neo 3 bears a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 1,000Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+ support, and DC Dimming. The smartphone features a centrally-aligned punch-hole cut-out, slim bezels, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it sports a racing-inspired double stripe design.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Realme GT Neo 3 sports a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50MP (f/1.9) main shooter, an 8MP (f/2.25) ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro sensor. Up front, it has a 16MP (f/2.45) selfie snapper. At the heart, It boots Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 OS out of the box.
Under the hood, the Realme GT Neo 3 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. There is a 4,500mAh battery model with 150W fast-charging support and a 5,000mAh battery variant with 80W fast-charging capability. It also has 4D Game Vibration and an X-axis linear motor.
For pricing and and availability, the 150W variant of the Realme GT Neo 3 is priced at CNY 2,599 (around Rs. 31,100) for the 8GB/256GB model, while the 12GB/256GB variant costs CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs. 33,500). Meanwhile, the 80W model falls in the price-range of CNY 1,999-2,599 (approximately Rs. 23,900-31,100). It is offered in Cyclonus Black, Silverstone, and Le Mans color options.
