Chinese tech giant, Xiaomi is all set to commence the sale of Redmi 10 in India. The device will be available for purchase from 12pm onwards. The smartphone will go on sale through Mi.com, Mi Home, Flipkart, and partner offline stores. The all-new Redmi 10 carries a price-tag of Rs. 10,999 for the base 4GB/64GB variant and Rs. 12,999 for the 6GB/128GB model.

The Redmi 10 is the successor to Redmi 9 which was launched last year 2021. The smartphone aims to attract buyers with features such as a 50MP main snapper, a Snapdragon 680 chipset, and 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging. With the Redmi 10, the company aims to take on the Motorola Moto E40, Realme C35, and Samsung Galaxy M21 (2021) Edition.

The Xiaomi Redmi 10 packs a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Moreover, the screen supports 400-nits of peak brightness. The smartphone has a waterdrop notch design at the top-center, slim bezels, and a plastic body. It has dual cameras on the rear with a physical fingerprint scanner placed inside the camera bump.

Under the hood, the Redmi 10 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 680 processor and comes in 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB variants. At the heart, it runs on the latest MIUI 13, built on top of Android 11 Os out of the box. Connectivity options on the smartphone include dual-SIMs, LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Redmi 10 is equipped with a dual camera arrangement on the rear, comprising a 50MP (f/1.8) primary sensor and a 2MP portrait sensor, paired with an LED flash unit. On the front, it has a 5MP (f/2.0) shooter for selfies and video calls. Both the front and rear cameras are capable of filming in 1080p at 30fps. The handset draws power from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast-charging via the Type-C port

For official pricing and availability, the Redmi 10 carries a price-tag of Rs. 10,999 for the base 4GB/64GB variant and Rs. 12,999 for the 6GB/128GB model. The device can be purchased in three different color options, namely Midnight Black, Caribbean Green, and Pacific Blue. The sale of the handset will start today at 12pm onward via Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home, and select offline stores.
