Xiaomi has officially announced its new Redmi 10 series smartphone—called the Redmi 10C in Nigeria. The Redmi 10C is a mid-range device by the Chinese tech company which comes with a 6.71-inch display. The handset is powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core 680 processor. The phone ships with a dual-camera setup and packs 4GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi Redmi 10C comes with a 6.71-inch display. The display panel has a water-drop-shaped notch at the top of the display which accommodates the selfie camera. Powering the handset under the hood is an octa-core 6nm Snapdragon 680 processor which is accompanied by Adreno 610 GPU. The smartphone packs 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
In terms of optics, the Xiaomi Redmi 10C features a dual-camera setup at the back which is accompanied by an LED flash. The camera module comprises a 50MP primary sensor. For security purpose, the device is equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. If the past leak is to be believed, the Xiaomi Redmi 10C ships a 5,000mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging.
As far as other information related to the handset is concerned, Xiaomi is all set to launch the Redmi 10 smartphone in India on March 17. The past leak hints that the Redmi 10C will arrive in India with the Redmi 10 moniker, retaining the same specifications. The smartphone comes in black, blue, and green colour options.
The Xiaomi Redmi 10C base model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage is priced at N78,000 (around ₹14,584), while the variant with 4GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage costs N87,000 (₹16,119). As for the availability, the smartphone can be purchased in Nigeria from several retailers, including Slot.ng. As of now, Xiaomi is yet to list the device on its official Nigeria website.
