Acer has launched its Nitro 5 (2022) gaming laptop in Indian market. Under the hood, it comes in 12th-generation Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processor options with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30-series GPU. The new laptop starts at Rs. 84,999 for its base variant with 8GB of RAM. It is available through the company's India website, exclusive stores, and other partner sales channels.
The new Acer Nitro 5 (2022) was unveiled at CES 2022 in January. The company has added a dual-fan system and a quad-exhaust port for better cooling and thermal management. It rivals gaming laptops from brands such as ASUS, HP, and Dell. The company has also confirmed to bring the QHD version of the laptop by the end of April.
The Acer Nitro 5 (2022 features a 15.6-inch Full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) TFT IPS display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and an aspect ratio of 16:9. The display also provides a 170-degree-wide viewing angle. The laptop sports a standard rectangular screen with slim bezels, a four-zone RGB keyboard, a webcam housed in the top bezel, and a multi-touch trackpad.
On the front software, the Acer Nitro 5 (2022) runs on Windows 11 Home. Under the hood, it is powered by 12th-generation i5 and i7 processors for the 8GB RAM and 16GB RAM variants, respectively. Both the models offer 512GB of storage and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU. It packs a 57.5W battery.
The Acer Nitro 5 (2022) is equipped with Killer Ethernet E2600 and Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i for wired and wireless connectivity, respectively. The I/O ports on the laptop include an HDMI 2.1 and Thunderbolt 4 slots. The laptop also offers Bluetooth 5.1 and DTS:X Ultra-powered 2W stereo speakers. It also gets a Temporal Noise Reduction feature as well as dual microphones.
For pricing and availability, the Acer Nitro 5 (2022) price in India starts at Rs. 84,999 for the base variant with an Intel Core i5 processor and 8GB of RAM.
