OnePlus Ace was announced in India as the new affordable flagship smartphone from the Chinese tech company. It is the first handset powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max premium chipset. As for key specifications, the device comes with a 120Hz OLED display, a big battery, fast charging, the largest Vapor cooling Chamber from OnePlus, a triple rear camera, a dual-tone color scheme with vertical lines, and more.
OnePlus Ace comes with a 6.7 inches OLED display with a Full-HD+ resolution, 120Hz fast refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 720Hz touch sampling rate, 100 per cent DCI P3 colour gamut, HDR10+ support, and 1000nits peak brightness. Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max processor. In terms of Dimensions, the device measures 163.3 × 75.5 × 8.2mm and 186 grams.
In terms of camera department, the OnePlus Ace features a triple rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, the handset sports a 16-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL S5K3P9SP sensor.
On the front software, the OnePlus Ace comes running on Android 12 out of the box with Color OS 12 skin on top. It is accompanied by up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The company has also integrated an independent graphic chip to boost the frame rates. Additionally, the smartphone comes with X-axis linear motor, Vapor Chamber, and an under-display fingerprint sensor.
The OnePlus Ace is packed with a 4500mah battery which TUV Rheinland certification and supports 150W fast charging which the Chinese tech company states can charge the device from 0 to 100 percent in less than 17 minutes. For connectivity options, the smartphone includes 5G, dual 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for charging port. The handset comes in gradient black and blue color options.
For pricing and availability, OnePlus Ace comes in four configurations: 8GB + 128GB priced at 2499 Yuan (Rs. 29,500 approx), 8GB + 256GB priced at 2699 Yuan (Rs. 31,800 approx), 12GB + 256GB priced at 2999 Yuan (Rs. 35,400 approx) and 12GB + 512GB priced at 3499 Yuan (Rs. 41,300 approx). It is currently available for pre-orders in China and will go for sale on April 26 via major online stores. The OnePlus 18W Freezing point cooling back clip is priced at 199 yuan ( Rs. 2340 approx ).
