OnePlus has launched the OnePlus Ace smartphone in China. It is the first of its kind in the new Ace series. When it comes to key specifications, the handset flaunts a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that has Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device uses customized Dimensity 8100 Max processor. Additionally, it features a 50MP triple-camera setup, 16MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery unit.
The OnePlus Ace boasts of a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that has Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz screen refresh rate. The display has HDR10+ support, a 720Hz touch sampling rate, and 1000Hz instant touch. The smartphone features a punch-hole cutout at the center which houses the selfie camera. Powering the handset is a 5nm octa-core Dimensity 8100 Max processor.
In terms of cameras, the OnePlus Ace sports a triple-camera setup, which includes a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS support. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. The smartphone sports a 16MP camera for selfies and video-calling. On the software front, the handset runs Android 12 OS out of the box. The System on Chip consists of up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
The whole package draws power from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 150W Super VOOC fast charging. The smartphone misses out on an alert slider and a 3.5mm audio jack. The other key features which the handset offers include an in-display fingerprint scanner, 5G, 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.2, 4129.9 mm sq. VC cooling system, and a USB Type-C port.
For pricing and availability, the OnePlus Ace price in China starts at CNY 2,499 (roughly ₹29,500) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The mid-tier variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB costs CNY 2,699 (roughly ₹30,700). The 12GB RAM model with 256GB model costs CNY 2,999 (roughly ₹35,400). The top-end variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB costs CNY 3,499 (roughly ₹41,300). The smartphone will go on sale in China starting next week.
