Realme announced GT 2 Pro in India earlier this month, and today the Chinese tech company unveiled its vanilla GT 2 in the Indian market. In terms of key specifications, the smartphone comes with a mid-range price tag with some awesome features. The smartphone’s features are an octa-core Snapdragon 888 chipset, up to 12GB of RAM, and a 50MP triple rear camera unit.
Coming to the display, Realme GT 2 comes with a 6.62-inch 120Hz full-HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone features an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset clubbed with Adreno 660 GPU. It has arrived with Android 12 OS with RealmeUI 3.0 on the top. Furthermore, there’s an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
In terms of optics, the Realme GT 2 sports a triple camera module on the back that houses a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP macro shooter. In terms of front-facing camera, it features a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor with an f/2.5 lens. The smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging technology.
The Realme GT 2 comes with up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Onboard sensors on the handset are an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. On the connectivity front, it is offering Wi-Fi 6, 5G, 4G LTE, GPS, and NFC. It also has a USB Type-C port. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 162.9 x 75.8 x 8.6mm and weighs around 199.8 grams.
The Realme GT 2 is available in two RAM and storage configurations – 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage which has been priced at Rs. 34,999 and Rs. 38,999 respectively. It comes in Steel Black, Paper White, and Paper Green color options. It will go on sale starting 12 pm on April 28 through Realme.com and Flipkart.
