Poco M4 5G was launched in India on April 29 (Friday) at a starting price of Rs 12,999. As for the key highlights, the smartphone features a 6.58-inch touchscreen display, 90 Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, a dual camera setup and a 5000mAh battery. It is offered in three colour options, and carries 7 5G bands for fast 5G connectivity.

The Poco M4 5G comes with a 90 Hz refresh rate 6.58-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080x2408 pixels (FHD) at a pixel density of 401 pixels per inch (ppi). Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. It comes with 4GB of RAM. The handset is powered by a 5000mAh battery. The device supports proprietary fast charging.

As for the camera department, the Poco M4 5G smartphone on the rear packs a dual camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) primary camera, and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) camera. It has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.

In terms of software, the Poco M4 5G runs MIUI 13 is based on Android 12 OS out of the box and packs 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 512GB). In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 163.99 x 76.09 x 8.90mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 200.00 grams. 

For connectivity options on the Poco M4 5G smartphone include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.10, and USB Type-C. Sensors on the handset include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The device was launched in Black, Blue, and Yellow colours.
