Realme Q5i was announced as the new budget 5G smartphone from the Chinese Tech Giant. The new device comes with a dual rear camera setup, MediaTek 5G chipset, fast refresh rate LCD display, big battery, fast charging, and more. The company unveiled one of the models of the Realme Q5 series today while the Realme Q5 and Q5 Pro were going to reveal it on April 20. 

Realme Q5i bears a 6.58 inches IPS LCD display with a Full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 600 nits peak brightness. The smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 810 octa-core SoC that comes paired with Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is coupled with 4GB/6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot. 

The Realme Q5i features a dual rear camera that includes a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, It sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera under the waterdrop notch. The smartphone is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 33W fast charging. It comes running on Android 12 OS out of the box with realme UI 3.0 skin on top.

For connectivity, the Realme Q5i includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Additionally, the smartphone comes with dual stereo speakers with Hi-res audio, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 5GB virtual RAM support (only for the 6GB model), 8.1mm thick, and weighs around 190 grams.

For official pricing and availability, the Realme Q5i comes in two configurations: 4GB + 128GB priced at 1199 yuan ( Rs. 14,400 approx ) and 6GB + 128GB priced at 1299 yuan ( Rs. 15,600 approx ). The smartphone comes in two color options namely Obsidian Blue and Graphite Black. The handset is currently available for purchase on Realme’s online store in China.
