South Korean tech giant, Samsung has announced the Galaxy M53 5G which is the company’s latest M-series lineup smartphone. The handset is currently listed on the Samsung Mobile Press website, however, pricing and availability details are still unknown. As for the key highlights, it comes with a 120Hz Super AMOLED Plus display and a 108MP quad-camera setup on the rear. 

The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The infinity-O display carries a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of processor, the smartphone is equipped with an unspecified octa-core (2×2.4GHz + 6x2GHz) that is paired with 6GB of RAM. Speaking about design, it has a punch-hole cutout on the front penal and a square-shaped camera module on the backside.

In terms of optics, the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G sports four cameras on the backside that houses a 108MP primary camera with an f/1.8 lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calling, the smartphone has arrived with a 32MP front camera with an f/2.2 lens. For storage, it comes with 128GB of internal storage and users can expand its storage capacity via a microSD card (up to 1TB). 

On the SoC front, the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G runs on Android 12 based OneUI 4.0 out of the box. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.2, and a USB Type-C port.  Onboard sensors are an accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, light sensor, and proximity sensor. It gets a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Besides, it measures 164.7 x 77.0 x 7.4mm and weighs around 176 grams.

For now, the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G has been listed on the Samsung mobile press website which provides its full key specifications details. The South Korean tech company has not revealed its official pricing and availability details yet. The handset is available in three color options, i.e. Blue, Brown, and Green.
