Motorola Moto G22 was announced in India as the new budget-friendly smartphone from the Lenovo-owned Tech Company. Although, the handset was already unveiled in Europe earlier last month. As for the key highlights, the device comes with a quad rear camera, MediaTek octa-core chipset, latest operating system, big battery, fast charging, 3.5mm headphone jack, and more.
Motorola Moto G22 comes with a 6.5 inches LCD display with an HD+ ( 720 x 1600 pixels ) resolution, 90Hz fast refresh rate, and 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a MediaTek Helio G37 octa-core SoC that comes coupled with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. At the heart, it comes running on Android 12 OS out of the box with My UX skin on top.
In terms of optics, the Motorola Moto G22 features a quad rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel portrait lens. The smartphone sports a 16-megapixel selfie sensor under the punch-hole at the top center. The device is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 20W fast charging.
For connectivity, the Motorola Moto G22 includes 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS, Wi-Fi 5, USB TYPE-C port, GNSS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 163.95 x 74.94 x 8.49mm and weighs 185 grams. Additionally, the handset comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, water repellent design, and notification LED.
For pricing and availability, the Motorola Moto G22 comes in a solo configuration of 4GB + 64GB priced at Rs. 10,999. The smartphone cones in two color options namely Cosmic Black and Iceberg Blue. The company has provided a discount of Rs. 1,000 for ICICI credit card and EMI transactions. The handset will go for sale on April 13 at 12 PM via e-commerce platform store Flipkart.
