Tecno Phantom X was announced in India as the new upper mid-range device from the Chinese mobile manufacturer. As for the key specifications, the smartphone comes with a fast refresh rate curved AMOLED display, MediaTek octa-core chipset, triple rear camera, big battery, fast charging, dual selfie camera, and more.
Tecno Phantom X bears a 6.7 inches curved AMOLED display with a 90Hz fast refresh rate, Full-HD+ resolution, 91% screen to body ratio, and 103 percent color gamut. Under the hood, the smartphone comes with a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC which was 3 years old 4G chipset. It is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM with 5GB of virtual RAM support and 256GB of UFS 2.1 onboard storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot up to 512GB.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Tecno Phantom X features a triple rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 13-megapixel portrait lens. The smartphone sports a pill-shaped selfie camera module housing a 48-megapixel main sensor and an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor with a 105-degree Field of View. The device is packed with a 4700mah battery and supports 33W fast charging.
In terms of software, the Tecno Phantom X is running on Android 11out of the box with HiOS 8.0 skin on top. Sensors onboard, the smartphone sports an Accelerometer, Ambient Light, Distance, E-Compass, Gyro sensor, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. For connectivity options, it includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. In terms of Dimensions, the handset measures 163.5 x 73.78 x 8.72mm.
As for the official pricing and availability, TECNO Phantom X comes in a solo configuration of 8GB + 256GB priced at Rs.25,999. The smartphone comes in two color options namely Summer Sunset, and Iceland Blue. The handset will go for sale starting on May 4 via e-commerce platform website store Amazon in India.
