Xiaomi Civi 1S was announced in China as the new upper mid-range 5G chipset. The new smartphone has almost identical specs and design similar to the last year’s launched Xiaomi Civi. As for key specifications, the handset comes with a fast refresh rate AMOLED display, Qualcomm’s 700 series processor, triple rear camera, big battery, fast charging, dual stereo speakers, and more.
Xiaomi Civi 1S bears a 6.55 inches AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2400 pixels ) resolution, 120Hz fast refresh rate, up to 240Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit color depth, 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, Dolby Vision HDR standards, HDR 10+ support, 950 nits peak brightness, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and 402 PPI pixel density. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 778G Plus with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage.
In terms of camera department, the Xiaomi Civi 1S boasts a triple rear camera that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone sports a 32-megapixel Sony IMX616 front-facing camera under the punch-hole at the top center. The handset is packed with a 4500mah battery and supports 55W fast charging.
The Xiaomi Civi 1S comes running on Android 12 OS out of the box with MIUI 13 skin on top. For connectivity, the device includes 5G, Bluetooth 5.2, WiFi 6, GNSS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. the phone includes dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, an IR blaster, an under-display fingerprint sensor, and a linear vibration motor. In terms of Dimensions, the smartphone measures 158.34 x 71.5 x 6.98mm and weighs 166 grams.
As for the official pricing and availability, Xiaomi Civi 1S comes in three configurations: 8GB + 128GB priced at 2299 yuan ( Rs. 27,000 approx ), 8GGB + 256GB priced at 2599 yuan ( Rs. 30,580 approx ) and 12GB + 256GB priced at 2899 yuan ( Rs. 34,100 approx ). The smartphone comes in four color options namely black, pink, blue, and silver. The handset is available for purchase from mi online store in China.
