iQOO Neo 6 5G is all set to launch in India on May 31. The Chinese tech company has been teasing it for a while now and started sending the invites to media houses too. It’s listed on e-commerce platform store Amazon, and the landing page suggests what to expect from the upcoming higher mid-range smartphone.
The iQOO Neo 6 series debuted in China last month April 2022, comprising the Neo 6 and the Neo 6 SE. Under th hood, the former came with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, and the latter shipped with Snapdragon 870 SoC. And, it appears the latter is expected to come as the iQOO Neo 6 5G to the Indian market.
The iQOO Neo 6 5G will ship with a punch-hole display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. It is an E4 AMOLED panel that further can achieve a peak brightness of 1300 nits and has a contrast ratio of 600000:1, and also has HDR10+ certification. For smoother game control, it also has a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The device will support the company’s 80W FlashCharge that promises to charge the 4700mAh battery to 50% in a mere 12 minutes.
In terms of optics, the iQOO Neo 6 5G equips a primary 64MP OIS camera, which is said to be a GW1P sensor. It will be accompanied by two other sensors: an 8MP wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro sensor, and the front sensor is expected to be a 16MP selfie shooter, considering the Chinese variant of the Neo 6 SE.
As suggested earlier, the iQOO Neo 6 5G will be powered by a Snapdragon 870 5G SoC that promises a clock speed of 3.2GHz and an AnTuTu score of more than 740000. For an enhanced gaming experience and to control heat dissipation effectively, the device will have a vapour chamber cooling system. The handset will also feature a faster UFS 3.1 storage system.
