Motorola Edge 30 has been launched in Europe as the latest addition to the company’s Edge handset lineup. It sports a 6.5-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The device bears a 144 Hz refresh rate 6.50-inch touchscreen display, it is powered by a Snapdragon 778G+ chipset, along with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of inbuilt storage. The handset is equipped with a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup and packs a 4,020mAh battery.
The Motorola Edge 30 comes with a 144 Hz refresh rate 6.50-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels (FHD+). Under the hood, the handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The smartphone is powered by a 4020mAh non-removable battery. The device supports proprietary fast charging.
In terms of optics, the Motorola Edge 30 on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) primary camera; a 50-megapixel (f/1.5) camera, and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring a 32-megapixel sensor with an f/2.25 aperture. The handset supports face unlock.
On front software, the Motorola Edge 30 runs My UX is based on Android 12 OS out of the box and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 159.38 x 74.24 x 6.79mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 155.00 grams. It was launched in Meteor Gray, Aurora Green, and Supermoon Silver colours.
For connectivity options on the Motorola Edge 30 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, GPS, Bluetooth v5.20, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks) , and 5G with active 4G on both SIM cards. Sensors on the smartphone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, compass/ magnetometer, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor.
