The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is an India-first device that is an affordable version of the Nord CE 2 5G. There are a few differences in specifications here and there which are expected considering the price difference. It is unknown when the smartphone will arrive in markets other than India. It offers a 6.59-inch Full HD+ LCD display, 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 695 processor, triple rear camera setup, and a 5,000mAh battery.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G bears a 6.59-inch Full HD+ (2942 x 1080 pixels) LCD display with a punch-hole. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, sRGB and Display P3 color gamut, and 401ppi pixel density. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor with Adreno 619 GPU. The smartphone has 6GB and 8GB RAM options paired with the same 128GB onboard storage.
In terms of optics, the front camera on the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture for taking selfies and attending video calls. The triple rear camera setup features a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth-assist sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
On the front software, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G will boot OxygenOS based on Android 12 out of the box. The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. Other noteworthy features include a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.2, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G Lite will cost you INR 19,999 (about $262) for the 6GB/128GB base model. The higher variant i.e. 8GB/128GB model is priced at INR 21,999 (about $288). The available color options include Black Dusk and Blue Tide. The handset will go on sale from April 30 and May 4, respectively, and will be available via Amazon OnePlus.in, and partner retail stores.
