Chinese tech company, OnePlus debuted the OnePlus 10R 5G affordable flagship device in the Indian market. It is a direct successor to the last year's OnePlus 9R but is essentially a rebranded OnePlus Ace which arrived in China last week. There are no differences in terms of specs or features except that 150W fast charging is limited to a single configuration.
The OnePlus 10R 5G sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ (2412 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED punch-hole display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 950 nits of peak brightness. The choice of processor is the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max coupled with 8GB and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The smartphone is available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage options.
In terms of optics, the back panel has a triple camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor with f/1.88 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front camera is a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture and housed inside the punch-hole for selfies and video calls.
On the front software, The OnePlus 10R 5G will boot ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12 out of the box. The whole package is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 80W Super Flash Charge fast charging support. The 150W fast charging support is restricted to a special variant called OnePlus 10R 5G Endurance Edition.
For official pricing and availability, OnePlus has priced the OnePlus 10R 5G is priced at INR 38,999 (about $510) and INR 42,999 (about $562) for 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB variants respectively. If interested in Endurance Edition featuring 150W fast charging, it will cost you INR 43,999 (about $575). The handset is available in Forest Green and Sierra Black color options but the special edition is limited to just the Black color.
