Poco has debuted a new budget smartphone called the Poco M4 5G. The handset packs in great value-for-money specifications and features for the asking price. It is the latest device in the M-series and joins the Poco M4 Pro 5G that debuted in the country about a couple of months ago.

The Poco M4 5G comes with a 6.58-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) LCD display with a punch-hole and 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is packed with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor and is available in two configurations: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. Both variants feature expandable storage where up to 1TB of microSD cards can be used.

As far as the cameras are concerned, there is a dual rear camera module featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera is an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.45 aperture and housed within the punch-hole. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 163.99 x 76.09 x 8.90mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 200.00 grams. 

The Poco M4 5G runs MIUI 13 is based on Android 12 OS out of the box and packs 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 512GB). The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. The smartphone features a USB Type-C port and has Bluetooth and WiFi support.

As for official pricing and availability, The Poco M4 5G is priced at INR 12,999 for the 4GB/64GB model and INR 14,999 for the 6GB/128GB model. The smartphone is available in Cool Blue, Power Black, and Yellow color options. The handset will go for sale on May 5 via e-commerce platform website store Flipkart
