Chinese tech company, Vivo has multiple smartphone lineups in India that are priced at different segments and customers. It debuted a new T-series a couple of months ago with the launch of the Vivo T1 5G. A new report has emerged claiming that Vivo has plans to release two more T-series smartphones in India.
As for the Vivo T1 5G, it sports a 6.58-inch Full HD+ (2408 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD display with a dew-drop notch. The panel has a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The choice of processor is Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 and coupled with 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB of RAM. All these variants are available with 128GB of onboard storage.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the triple rear cameras include a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera is a 16-megapixel sensor housed within the notch. The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and 18W fast charging.
In terms of software, the Vivo T1 5G will boot Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box. The rest of the new vivo T1 5G's highlights include an in-display fingerprint reader, USB-C, Hi-Res Audio support, and vapor chamber cooling. The smartphone will be available in Rainbow Fantasy and Starlight Black color options.
These new Vivo T-series smartphones are reported to launch sometime in May 2022. There are no details about specifications and features but are tipped to cost under INR 25,000. This suggests that it will be a budget mid-range device. It is expected to be a Vivo T1 5G successor but nothing is confirmed yet.
