Fossil has unveiled a new smartwatch, called the Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid, in India. The new wearable will appeal to those who prefer a traditional watch design equipped with modern technology. The new smartwatch is released in two designs: Stella and Machine . Notable features of the device include up to two weeks of battery life, support for Amazon Alexa, and an SpO2 sensor.
The Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid has two models, namely Machine and Stella. The Machine features a 45mm case size with a textured bezel and comes in three colour options: Black, Smoke, and Silver. On the other hand, the Stella features a comparatively smaller 40.5mm case and is available in Silver, Rose Gold, and two-tone colourways. Both smartwatches come with interchangeable bands, 18mm and 24mm respectively.
The Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid is claimed to offer up to two-week battery life. Other features of the smartwatch include, physical time-telling hands, support for sleep and step tracking, notifications, customizable watch faces, continuous heart rate and workout monitoring. Further, the Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid now has SpO2 tracking.
Furthermore, Fossil has released a redesigned smartwatch companion app for both Android and iOS platforms. The app features improved personalization options and a more comprehensive fitness data dashboard. Do note that the new app will also work with older Fossil Hybrid smartwatches. The wearable also features a built-in microphone with support for Amazon Alexa.
For official pricing and availability, the Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid smartwatch is priced at ₹18,495 for the standard variant.
