After teasing it for weeks, POCO finally unveiled its newest budget flagship device called the POCO F4 5G—in India and international markets. The smartphone is an upgrade over the POCO F3 and comes with significant advancements. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 continues to power it, and it has a big 4,500mAh battery and 67W fast charging.
The POCO F4 5G comes with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ 10-bit AMOLED display with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+. The display has a maximum brightness of 1,300 nits and is the first POCO phone to support the Dolby Vision format. The smartphone has up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of internal UFS 3.1 storage, and it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G processor.
In terms of optics, the POCO F4 5G has a triple-camera setup on the rear. It includes a main 64MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. A 20MP (F/2.4) selfie camera is located on the front. A 4,500mAh battery powers the smartphone and it supports 67W rapid charging. The phone can be fully charged in 38 minutes.
The POCO F4 5G comes pre-installed with MIUI 13 and Android 12 OS out of the box. The smartphone also has dual-5G standby, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, Hi-Res Audio, Dolby Atmos, and stereo speakers. It has a vapour changer cooling system with a graphite sheet. It also features an X-axis linear vibration motor for better haptics.
The POCO F4 5G comes in Nebula Green and Night Black colour variants. It is priced at ₹27,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant, ₹29,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model, and the 12GB + 256GB model costs ₹33,999. With the instant discount (₹1,000) and bank offer (₹3,000 via HDFC Bank cards), it will be available starting at just ₹23,999. The device will be available from e-commerce platform store Flipkart starting June 27, 2022.
