OnePlus has expanded its Nord series in India and added a new smartphone, called OnePlus Nord 2T 5G. The handset offers mid-range specs and features. As for the key highlights, it carries an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC, up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and a 50MP triple rear camera setup. The device is powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging technology.
The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G features a 6.43-inch full-HD+ AMOLED with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio and 90Hz refresh rate. The punch-hole display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Coming to the SoC, the smartphone has arrived with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC along with Mali G77 MC9 GPU. For memory, it is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM.
In terms of optics, the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G is equipped with a triple camera setup on the back that houses a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP mono camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The front penal brings a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor for selfies and video calling, with an f/2.4 aperture.
The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G has dual stereo speakers and noise cancellation support. The phone comes with an under-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. In terms of connectivity options, it includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS with A-GPS, and NFC. Onboard sensors are an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
On the software front, the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G brings a dual-SIM tray and the phone runs on Android 12 Operating System with OxygenOS 12.1 out of the box. The smartphone comes with a 4,500mAh with an 80W SuperVOOC fast charging support. The new mid-range device has provided 128GB and 256GB of internal storage options.
OnePlus Nord 2T 5G is available in two variants in India – 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB internal storage, they have been priced at Rs. 28,999 and 33,999 respectively. It will be available starting July 5 via amazon.in, oneplus.in, OnePlus store, OnePlus experience stores, and select retail stores. The device comes in two color options, i.e. Gray Shadow and Jade Fog.
