The South Korean Tech Giant on July 14, (Thursday) released the Galaxy M13 5G in India. The Samsung has seen a 20 percent year-on-year growth in value terms, according to a senior company official. Samsung India has plans to sell Galaxy M-Series smartphones worth $1 billion in India this year, according to a company official. 

The Samsung Galaxy M13 5G comes with a 6.50-inch touchscreen display (HD+). The display sports Gorilla Glass for protection. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Samsung Exynos 850 processor. It comes with 6GB, 12GB of RAM. The handset is powered by a 5000mAh battery. The device supports proprietary fast charging.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy M13 5G on the rear packs a dual camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera, and a 2-megapixel (ultra wide-angle) camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring a 5-megapixel sensor.

On the software front, the Samsung Galaxy M13 5G runs One UI 4 is based on Android 12 OS out of the box. For storage, it packs 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 1024GB). The smartphone is a dual-SIM mobile. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 164.00 x 76.50 x 8.80mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 195.00 grams. 

For connectivity options on the Samsung Galaxy M13 5G include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, USB Type-C, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks) , and 5G. Sensors on the smartphone include accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, and fingerprint sensor. It was launched in Aqua Green, Midnight Blue, and Stardust Brown colours.
