The South Korean smartphone manufacturer on July 14, (Thursday) released the Galaxy M13 in India. The Samsung has seen a 20 percent year-on-year growth in value terms, according to a senior company official. Samsung India has plans to sell Galaxy M-Series smartphones worth $1 billion in India this year, according to a company official.
The Samsung Galaxy M13 comes with a 6.60-inch touchscreen display (FHD+). Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Samsung Exynos 850 processor. It comes with 4GB of RAM. In terms of battery, the handset is powered by a 6000mAh battery. The device supports proprietary fast charging.
The Samsung Galaxy M13 on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) primary camera; a 5-megapixel (f/2.2, ultra wide-angle) camera, and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture.
On the software front, the Samsung Galaxy M13 runs One UI 4 is based on Android 12 OS out of the box and packs 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 1024GB). In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 165.40 x 76.90 x 9.30mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 207.00 grams.
For connectivity options on the Samsung Galaxy M13 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, and USB Type-C. Sensors on the smartphone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, compass/ magnetometer, and fingerprint sensor. It was launched in Aqua Green, Midnight Blue, and Stardust Brown colours.
