Xiaomi 12S Ultra, Xiaomi 12S, and Xiaomi 12S Pro were launched at the company's event on Monday. Alongside the Xiaomi 12S series, the Chinese tech company launched the Xiaomi 12 Pro Dimensity Edition and Mi Smart Band 7 Pro. The handset offers a 6.73-inch touchscreen display, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, a triple camera setup and a 4860mAh battery.
The Xiaomi 12S Ultra bears a 6.73-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1440x3200 pixels. The display sports Gorilla Glass for protection. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. It comes with 8GB, 12GB of RAM. The handset is powered by a 4860mAh battery.
In terms of optics, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel (f/1.9) primary camera; a 48-megapixel (f/2.2) camera, and a 48-megapixel (f/4.1) camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring a 32-megapixel sensor.
On the software front, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra runs MIUI 13 is based on Android 12 and packs 256GB, 512GB of inbuilt storage. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 163.17 x 74.97 x 9.06mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 225.00 grams. It was launched in Green and Black colours. It bears a glass body.
For connectivity options on the Xiaomi 12S Ultra include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth v5.20, and USB Type-C. Sensors on the smartphone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, compass/ magnetometer, in-display fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor.
