Aespa recently joined Warner Records. SM Entertainment officially cooperates with the US label for the distribution and marketing of Winter Cs in the US. With this collaboration, the release of aespa's new album, titled Girls, will be released at the same time in South Korea and the United States.
Girls album will be released on July 8, 2022. In addition, SM Entertainment also announced that AESPA will release their first English song titled Life's Too Short. The song can be heard on June 24, 2022, two weeks before the mini album Girls is released. Regarding this collaboration, Warner Records welcomed it positively.
aespa also joined as the first K-Pop group to join them. "Under the leadership of Lee Soo Man, as the founder of SM Entertainment, aespa has been able to demonstrate its influence around the world," said Tom Corson and Aaron Bay-Shuck as co-chairmen of Warner Records. "We are honored to have aespa join the Warner Records family as our first K-Pop group," he continued.
As is known, aespa showed an extraordinary performance at Coachella 2022. They were also included in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list, and also entered the TIME version of the Next Generation Leaders list. Meanwhile, aespa will greet fans in Japan with the first showcase titled aespa JAPAN PREMIUM SHOWCASE 2022 ~SYNK~.
The showcase will be held on August 6 and 7, 2022 at Pia Arena MM, Japan. Through this showcase, the South South Korean girl group AESPA will appear and meet the members in Japan for the first time after they officially debut. The members will also sing hits such as Next Level to Savage.
