J-Hope , for the first time, will be carrying out individual activities outside of his busy life with BTS. He is confirmed to be performing at the Lollapalooza Music Festival in Chicago, United States. The news was delivered directly by Lollapalooza through their social media accounts. J-Hope will perform on Sunday 31 July 2022.
Not just performing, J-Hope was appointed as the headliner along with a number of big musicians such as Green Day, Jane's Addiction, The Kid Laroi, and Charli XCX. J-Hope will perform as the closing musician on the Bud Light Seltzer stage and will perform his hits after The Kids Laroi stage is over.
The BTS rapper and dance will perform for a full hour. With this, J-Hope became the first South Korean artist to headline a major US music festival. As for TXT, this will be their first time performing at a United States music festival. Shortly after the news was announced, J-Hope's name immediately became a trending topic on Twitter.
Even the name Becky G is trending on Twitter in the hope that the musician will appear on stage with J-Hope, considering that the two collaborated on the song Chicken Noodle Soup.
