‘Mouse’ Star Kwon Hwa Woon to Play as Lead in MBC’s New Drama ‘Please Check the Event’

Kwon Hwa Woon will play as lead in the forthcoming MBC drama, "Please Check the Event." Recently, the 31-year-old star received an offer to be part of the nearly coming series "Please Check the Event," alongside Girl's Day Minah. And on April 29, Kwon Hwa Woon's agency, 935 Entertainment, confirmed that he will participate in the drama.

According to the agency, "Kwon Hwa Woon will be playing another unique role as an indie band leader and vocalist named Park Do Kyun in MBC's 'Please Check the Event.'" Idol-turned-actress Minah also confirmed her participation in the series. "Please Check the Event" is a melodrama series that will talk about the story of two ex-lovers who disguised themselves as a couple to go on a "couple trip" together to win the grand prize for the event.

Minah will portray the character of Ha SongYi, a hardworking coordinator at a botanical garden. Meanwhile, "Doctor John" actor Kwon Hwa Woon is Park Do Kyun, a handsome leader and vocalist of an indie band. "Please Check the Event" is scheduled to meet the viewers in the second half of this year (2021). Kwon Hwa Woon rose to fame for his portrayal as Heo Joon in "Doctor John."  He also appeared in the record-breaking drama "Sky Castle." 

He became active again in the entertainment industry by becoming part of two of the most talked-about dramas in 2021. Kwon Hwa Woon played the role of Sung Yo Han in tvN's "Mouse," alongside singer-actor Lee Seung Gi. His character was falsely accused as the psychopath. Hence, he was able to deliver his role well. Because of his appearance in the series, Kwon Hwa Woon received another offer to play as Kim So Hyun's brother in "River Where the Moon Rises." 

And now, the Korean hunk is set to do again a new drama. This time, he is expected to show his sweet and romantic persona.  Aside from his acting, Kown Hwa Woon has been gaining the attention of the viewers for his handsome profile. The Korean star is also being praised for his strong visuals on and off the camera. Not to mention that he is a model, too!
