Oppo Reno 8Z 5G was launched in Thailand on August 4, (Thursday). It is currently available for pre-order in two colour options. As for the key highlights, the handset is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC and Adreno 619 GPU. It sports a 6.43-inch display with a full-HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate.
The Oppo Reno 8Z 5G comes with a 60 Hz refresh rate 6.43-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels (FHD+) at a pixel density of 409 pixels per inch (ppi). Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The handset is powered by a 4500mAh non-removable battery. The device supports Super VOOC fast charging.
In terms of optics, the Oppo Reno 8Z 5G smartphone on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel (f/f/1.7) primary camera; a 2-megapixel (f/f/2.4) camera, and a 2-megapixel (f/f/2.4) camera. It has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/f/2.4 aperture.
On the software front, the Oppo Reno 8Z 5G runs ColorOS 12.1 is based on Android 12 out of the box and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 1000GB). The smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIMmobile. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 159.90 x 73.20 x 7.66mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 181.00 grams.
For connectivity options on the Oppo Reno 8Z 5G include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.10, NFC, USB Type-C , and 5G. Sensors on the handset include accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor. The device supports face unlock. It was launched in Dawnlight Gold and Starlight Black colour.
