Vivo has launched the Vivo Y22 in India with a 6.55-inch LCD display and a MediaTek Helio G70 SoC. The smartphone features a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary lens. At the front, it gets an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support.
The Vivo Y22 comes with a 6.55-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 720x1612 pixels (HD+). Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G70 SoC. It comes with 4GB of RAM. The handset is powered by a 5000mAh battery. It measures 164.30 x 76.00 x 8.38mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 190.00 grams.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Vivo Y22 (2022) on the rear packs a dual camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) primary camera, and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) camera. It has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.
The Vivo Y22 (2022) runs Funtouch OS 12 is based on Android 12 OS out of the box and packs 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 1024GB) with a dedicated slot. The smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM + CDMA and GSM + CDMA) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards.
Connectivity options on the Vivo Y22 (2022) include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, NFC, USB OTG, USB Type-C, Micro-USB, FM radio, and 4G. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. It was launched in Metaverse Green and Starlit Blue colours.
