BLACKPINK's song 'Shut Down' again won first place on SBS Inkigayo

BLACKPINK 's song 'Shut Down' again won first place on the SBS Korean music show 'Inkigayo'. BLACKPINK managed to maintain its first position for 5 consecutive weeks on SBS Inkigayo. South Korean media OSEN said that on the broadcast of SBS Inkigayo episode 1157 which aired on October 9, 2022, BLACKPINK's song 'Shut Down' managed to take first place. 

The song managed to beat IVE's 'After LIKE' and NewJeans with 'Attention' which was also the first candidate in the second week of October. Based on information from the Kpop Chart on Twitter, the song 'Shut Down' managed to excel with a value of 8991 points. 'After LIKE' took second place with a value of 6586 points. While the song 'Attention' is in third place with 4871 points.

'Shut Down' managed to get 489 points for album sales, while for SNS got 3000 points. The pre-voting score for the song 'Shut Down' is 75 points. The scores for on-air and live voting are both 500 points. Then digital single sales recorded the highest value, which was 4427 points. The song 'Shut Down' is BLACKPINK's main song in their latest album Born Pink. 

The song was released along with the album on September 16, 2022. BLACKPINK finally released their second full album after almost 2 years. This victory is the fifth consecutive win for BLACKPINK on SBS Inkigayo. Previously, BLACKPINK's pre-release song 'Pink Venom' managed to occupy the top position on Inkigayo for three consecutive weeks. 

In the previous week followed by the song 'Shut Down' which also ranked first. In addition, this victory brought a new record for the song 'Shut Down'. Until now, the song 'Shut Down' has collected 9 wins. That way, BLACKPINK has managed to collect a total of 59 wins for all of their songs on Korean music shows.

Meanwhile, several idols such as Stray Kids, Crush, AB6IX, TREASURE, KINGDOM, DKZ, KCM, Seulgi, CocaNButter, Xiumin, CRAVITY, and MIRAE entered the Inkigayo lineup this week. Then there are Lapillus, NMIXX, mimiirose, MAKAMAKA, Rolling Quartz, and LIMELIGHT. Congratulations to BLACKPINK!
