Recently Charlie Puth released his 3rd studio album named ' CHARLIE '. In the latest album, he carries 12 new song titles including Left and Right which is a duet with Jungkook BTS. Left and Right became the opening song of CHARLIE along with the singles That's Hilarious and Light Switch which were previously released.

The song, which is on the 6th track of CHARLIE's album, marks Jungkook's first solo collaboration with other artists. Left and Right was released along with the music video on June 24, 2022. Previously, BTS was known to be resting and focusing more on the careers of each member for some time. In the video Charlie and Jungkook show off their bromance wearing brightly colored outfits while singing a catchy song .

After five months on YouTube, Left and Right was able to collect as many as 229 million views. Launching from allkpop.com thanks to the song, the two also managed to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart and debut at the top of the Spotify chart. Charlie admitted that he was amazed by Jungkook's talent and praised the ability of the BTS member.

" He's a humble gifted kid ," Charlie said, launching from The Rolling Stone on Saturday October 8, 2022. “ He has the perfect pitch and is able to remember any note in its place, which I find very impressive. He doesn't speak English and we can still communicate as if we were best friends just through music.

This is really good, beautiful thing ,” Charlie continued admiring Jungkook. Through a question and answer session with fans on Twitter Spaces, Charlie admitted that his collaboration with Jungkook wasn't actually planned. This is because at first Charlie only wanted the album to talk about himself.

However, he changed his mind after listening to Left and Right again and found something that would make the song even more special if he could collaborate with other people. According to him, Left and Right represent each other's perspectives between himself and Jungkook who have many differences but can still connect through music which he considers a universal language.
