Xiaojun will replace Minhee Cravity as the new MC. Together with Chaehyun Kep1er and Yeosang ATEEZ, the three of them will have chemistry together to become a compact MC trio. Xiaojun is the main vocalist of boy group WayV. WayV itself is the fourth sub unit of NCT which focuses on promoting in China.
WayV is a seven member multinational boy group that debuted in January 2019. As a sub-unit of NCT that focuses on the Chinese market, WayV released an album with songs in Chinese. At the end of December 2022, WayV successfully released their 4th mini album 'Phantom'.
After making a comeback at the end of December 2022, WayV is now busy with tour fanmeeting activities titled '2023 WayV Fanmeeting Tour [Phantom]'. WayV opened their first 'Phantom' tour fanmeeting in South Korea this past February. Followed later in Manila and the Philippines this month. They are planning a fan meeting tour in major cities around the world such as Bangkok, Thailand, in April.
Along with this, expectations are high for Xiaojun, who has been active in Korea for the first time in a while, to show his appearance as a music broadcast MC. Fans are looking forward to seeing Xiaojun's new activities in Korea and meeting him regularly as the host of SBS MTV's weekly music show 'The Show'.
