Launching soompi, on Monday March 7, 2023 the international non-profit organization Save The Children announced that Stray Kids' Felix had been appointed as a member of the Honors Club of the organization because the idol diligently donates his earnings to help children in need.
Similar to other organizations, to be appointed as a member of the Honors Club of Save The Children, an individual must contribute a certain nominal amount. Within this organization itself, donors must donate at least 30 million won (Rp. 353 million) or be contracted to donate this amount within three years.
If they meet the requirements, donors who are appointed as members of the Honors Club will later receive several benefits which include individual donation consultations, donation project reports, educational programs, related volunteer activities, and many more. Since 2020, Felix himself has started making regular donations through Save The Children on every birthday which falls on September 15th.
Recently, the idol born in 2000 also participated in the Save The Children campaign which provides food for children from low-income families. Regarding his appointment as a member of the Honors Club Save The Children, Felix commented, "I think all children deserve a chance.
Because STAY (Stray Kids' fandom) gives me strength, I also want to give a little love and hope to children in need." He continued, "I'm very happy to be able to support children while paying more attention to Save The Children's activities as a member of the Honors Club. I think the joy and significance (of this activity) will double if more people join me."
Apart from regularly donating to Save The Children, Felix also recently donated 50 million won (Rp. 589 million) through World Vision to help earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria. His donations are expected to be used for various projects for health, food, daily necessities, and temporary shelter support.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids is currently preparing for their comeback in April. Although their comeback date has not been confirmed, JYP Entertainment revealed that Stray Kids have finished filming the music video for their latest comeback.
