BLACKPINK has successfully kicked off Coachella for the second time. This year, Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa became the headlines for the world's biggest music festival. Amazingly, BLACKPINK brought South Korean culture to the main stage of Coachella. Not just one, a number of South Korean traditions were shown to the audience.

The solo stage from Jisoo and Jennie also showed the strong Korean culture. The cultural choices that are carried are quite unexpected and can blend beautifully with modern elements. On the main stage and Jisoo's solo stage, the dancheong is shown on the screen. Dancheong is a traditional wooden roof that is usually used in important places such as temples and palaces.

Jennie is seen wearing an outfit with a traditional motif. The black outer with silver motifs that Jennie wears seem modern but actually really depicts Korea. BLACKPINK performed the bunchaechum, a Korean fan dance. Furthermore, this artist under the auspices of YG Entertainment also walked with a fluttering Korean flag decoration brought by fans.

The Korean public expresses great pride for BLACKPINK. They really keep trying to introduce Korean culture even though everyone knows they are a K-Pop group. " I didn't realize time was running when I saw the BLACKPINK stage, they were really cool T, " flattered one of the Knetz at Theqoo.

" To be honest, they are legends, I am very proud of them, " another praised. " The fact they made Lisa a Thai is also a relief, it's cool they let her wear her country clothes for solo performances and she can show her culture too, " another added. " They're killing this... I'm really looking forward to them next week too TT, " another commented.

" To be honest I got goosebumps, BLACKPINK is too good!!!!!!!! " flattered another. " They are all very cool TT, " said another. " Top class, they fulfill my nationalism with lots of emotions TT Their stage is too beautiful, " explained another. " Legends are versatile, they are legends, " said another.
