BTS' Jungkook proved himself to be the top musician in the world. On the Spotify chart, his solo debut song titled Seven has been in the #1 position for a month! This record is a continuation of Jungkook's glorious record of achievements with the single Seven.
Since the release of the song Seven which is a collaboration between Jungkook and Latto, this track has immediately become number 1 on Spotify's Global Top Songs chart. In less than 24 hours, Seven's song has also been heard via the streaming platform 15 million times a day. With this achievement, Jungkook is competing with Taylor Swift.
Then, 28 days after Seven's release, Jungkook still maintains his position at number #1 on Spotify's Global Top Songs chart. This automatically makes Jungkook the first K-Pop soloist who can last for a full month, constantly being at number #1 on the chart. Not only on Spotify, Jungkook also recorded achievements on various other charts including the UK Official Singles Chart in England.
Seven gradually climbed to #25 on the chart and managed to stay there for four consecutive weeks. Seven was released in two versions namely Clean and Explicit. The Clean version of Seven's song features lyrics that are radio-friendly and safe for underage fans to play and listen to.
Meanwhile, the Explicit version includes harsh words in several parts of the song. In the Clean version, the lyrics of the song's pre-chorus and chorus read "I'll be lovin' you right", while in the Explicit version the same line reads "I'll be f*** you right". In Latto's rap lyrics, there are also parts that have been changed.
In the Clean version Latto sings "Let's sleep in", while in the Explicit version the lyrics are "F*** it, let's sleep in". MV Seven played by Jungkook together with Han So Hee. Previously, rumors about Han So Hee's appearance in Jungkook's solo project were indeed widely heard, then it was proven.
