NCT 127 is rumored to be making a new comeback album next July 2024. Quoting from Allkpop on Thursday June 13, 2024, according to reports from news media outlets, NCT 127 is scheduled to release their latest album in mid-July.
This is NCT 127's first summer comeback after seven years since they last released an album in the summer. To be precise, the mini album 'Cherry Bomb' was released in June 2017. This includes their third promotional activity in the summer, since releasing their debut album 'NCT #127' in July 2016.
NCT 127 plans to release their sixth full album and carry out full promotions this summer. However, unfortunately, this comeback will be NCT 127's first comeback and promotion without leader Taeyong. Taeyong is known to have been carrying out mandatory military duties in the ROK Navy division since last April.
On the other hand, member Taeil, who previously had been on hiatus from group promotions since August 2023 due to an accident, is rumored to be returning to promotions with NCT 127 members in the latest comeback album this time.
Apart from releasing their latest album, NCT 127 will also celebrate their 8th debut anniversary which falls on July 7, 2024. To celebrate 8 years of their career, NCT 127 is scheduled to hold a fan meeting with fans entitled '8ECRET INVITATION' which will be held on August 3 and 4, 2024.
Located at Jamsil Indoor Stadium, with a 360 degree stage format. This fan meeting event will only be attended by 8 NCT 127 members, except Taeyong. Fans can't wait to welcome the newest music and songs from NCT 127 this year.
They last greeted their fans through their comeback special winter single album 'Be There For Me' in December 2023. NCT 127 also recently carried out their third world concert tour entitled 'Neo City: The Unity' in several cities in Asia and ended last March.
