As the release of the film Deadpool & Wolverine approaches, one of the rumors that had been circulating about this film has been debunked. Quoting from Entertainment Weekly on Tuesday June 11, 2024, Taylor Swift will not appear in the film Deadpool & Wolverine.

This rumor surfaced during the NFL season when Taylor Swift was seen with Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Hugh Jackman, and Shawn Levy. They are often seen together when Taylor Swift supports her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, a Kansas City Chiefs player, especially during the Chiefs' game against the Jets on October 1, 2023.

Many fans thought Taylor Swift would appear in the film Deadpool & Wolverine playing The Dazzler. There are also those who say that Taylor might be the one to play Lady Deadpool, not Blake Lively. On the one hand, there are many reasons behind the assumption that he will appear in this Phase 5 adventure.

In several interviews, Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy are often asked about the chances of Taylor Swift appearing in Deadpool & Wolverine . Shawn refused to confirm this, while Ryan commented as follows. " A film like this... there's a lot of speculation about who might appear in it. I've even seen theories that believe Elvis will be in this film.

Anything can happen, and that's what makes me love this universe.
Surprises are one the thing that stands out the most in Deadpool ," said Ryan Reynolds. With the MCU preparing to reboot the X-Men franchise under the auspices of Marvel Studios, it is possible that they will consider involving Taylor Swift in the upcoming project.

But for now, fans can end speculation about the presence of the Cruel Summer singer  in Deadpool & Wolverine. Meanwhile, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman will bring their iconic characters together in the film  Deadpool & Wolverine which is ready to be released next July.

Characters from the two previous Deadpool films who will return, namely Vanessa (Morena Baccarin), Blind Al (Leslie Uggams), Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand), Yukio (Shioli Kutsuna), Colossus (Stefan Kapii), Peter/Sugar Bear (Rob Delaney), Dopinder (Karan Soni), and Shatterstar (Lewis Tan).
