WayV officially makes a comeback with new music and album entitled ' Give Me That '. To be precise, on Monday June 3, 2024. Celebrating the release of their fifth mini album, the music video for the Korean version of the title song 'Give Me That' has also been released on the SMTOWN YouTube channel .
The music video for the main song 'Give Me That' is presented with a trendy concept and visuals, where the five WayV members appear to be taking part in an audition and showcasing their respective talents. With a duration of around 3 minutes and 7 seconds, the music video for 'Give Me That' opens with the scene of a giant digital clock falling onto a group of judges.
Followed by a catchy musical beat, the WayV members appeared one by one with their own unique characters where they seemed to show off their talents and cool visuals to be selected as potential stars. In another scene, the members' faces are seen plastered on various record album covers, illustrating the success of the audition they participated in.
Apart from showing the audition concept, throughout the music video WayV also displays charming dance movements accompanied by super catchy music beats from the beginning to the end of the song. Even though it doesn't feature a romantic scene for a love-themed song, the warm atmosphere and sweet story are reflected in the song's lyrics which explain feelings of liking someone and the desire to get their attention.
Meanwhile, 'Give Me That' is a pop dance genre song that increases the charm of the song through an addictive musical beat with brass accompaniment over a funky old school drum beat. The main song from WayV's fifth mini album this time was released in 2 language versions, namely Korean and Chinese.
Accompanying 5 other b-side tracks which also carry the theme of love songs on the latest album 'Give Me That'. Fans welcomed and celebrated WayV's latest album comeback this time as something fresh and bright compared to their previous releases. Not only the music and dance performances presented, but the members' visuals also looked fresher.
