ATEEZ's San is known to have just donated 5 million won (around 58 million rupiah) to his hometown in Namhae-gun city. Quoting from Newsis via Twitter @tang__kira on Monday July 15, 2024, Namhae-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do announced that the man whose full name is Choi San, a member of the K-pop boy group ATEEZ donated 5 million won with members of his official fan club, 

Atiny through the Hometown Love Donation program (a program from the South Korean local government to revitalize local development which has been implemented since January 1, 2023). The man who is familiarly called San also donated local gifts worth 1.5 million won (around 17.5 million rupiah) to the residents of Namhae city, where he grew up and shared his love for his hometown with Atiny (the name for ATEEZ fans).

San, who is also the public relations ambassador of Namhae City, donated 5 million won as a sign of love for his hometown. It is known that San has been routinely donating to his hometown for two consecutive years. Moreover, he donated on his birthday on July 10th. This makes the donation even more meaningful for Atiny who participated in the donation. 

As reported by Newsis, the man born on July 10, 1999 said, “I am happy to be able to express my love for my hometown, Namhae-gun. The place where I was born and raised is full of love with our precious fans (Atiny). I hope my hometown can receive the love we share. Our Atiny will also help the local young generation who are working hard to achieve their dreams.”

Meanwhile, San and ATEEZ have just released their 10th mini album titled “Golden Hour” on May 31. The album contains 6 songs with “Work,” as the title track . Then there are “Golden Hour,” “Blind,” “Empty Box,” “Shaboom,” and “Siren.”

ATEEZ is also currently carrying out their North American tour titled “2024 ATEEZ World Tour, Towards The Light: Will To Power” which started in Tacoma (at Tacoma Dome) on July 14, then continued to Oakland on July 17, Los Angeles on July 20, Phoenix on July 25, Arlington on July 28, Duluth on July 31, New York on August 3, Washington DC on August 6, Toronto on August 8, and finally in Rosemont on August 10.
