BTS's V has become the center of controversy thanks to his latest upload on Instagram. Even though he is currently serving his military service, he still took the time to share photos several times for fans.

However, his latest upload actually made fans react because in one of the photos he shared, he uploaded a photo of French fries from a brand that is on the boycott list or the BDS (Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions) Movement.

The photo uploaded on Sunday, July 21, 2024, sparked negative responses from fans. However, fans were unable to write comments because V closed his comment column since opening his social media account. This is considered contradictory to BTS fans, namely ARMY, who made donations for Palestine, who were victims of Israeli attacks.

Now BTS fans are enlivening X's social media with the hashtag #KimTaehyung and tweeting to BTS's official account so that the man whose real name is Kim Taehyung knows the brand and meaning of the BDS Movement.

This isn't the first time fans have asked one of the BTS members about the Israel-Palestine conflict. Previously, they flocked to boycott HYBE after HYBE America appointed Scooter Braun as the CEO of HYBE America.

Scooter Braun who is Pro-Palestine received strong rejection from fans of the group under the HYBE company. However, it seems that the boycott action did not resonate considering that fans continue to enliven the releases from the agency.

Kim Taehyung is now the talk of the town because of his latest upload which is considered to be unempathetic towards the actions taken by fans. On the other hand, neither HYBE nor V have spoken out regarding the fans' protests.
