International musician John Legend is reportedly ready to hold a concert in Indonesia next October 2024. The concert titled An Evening With John Legend: A Night of Songs And Stories will be held at the Sentul International Convention Center, Bogor, West Java, on October 6, 2024.
The news of John Legend's solo concert was announced directly by the promoter on Thursday July 4, 2024. TGC Live as the promoter also announced the ticket sales schedule which will be divided into two sessions, namely presale on July 14, 2024, and general sale on July 15, 2024 at 14.00 WIB.
"Good news! John Legend is leaving for Indonesia on October 6, 2024! An Evening With John Legend: A Night of Songs And Stories," wrote TGC Live via Instagram. "Presale starts July 14, 2024, with general sale starting July 15, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. via the website johnlegend.com or johnlegendindonesia.com," he continued.
John Legend's concert features seven ticket categories with prices ranging from IDR 900 thousand to IDR 5.5 million. The Green category is the cheapest ticket at Rp900 thousand located on the edge. Then there is the Gold category for Rp3.2 million, then there is the Diamond category for Rp4 million, and VVIP for Rp5.5 million.
An Evening With John Legend: A Night of Songs And Stories is John Legend's big tour after the 2020 pandemic. Previously, he had held the Bigger Love Tour in the United States in 2021. This concert tour is also the musician's first solo tour in Indonesia.
Previously, he only occasionally performed at a number of shows in Indonesia, or only vacationed in several areas such as Bali. John Legend had a concert in Indonesia in 2010 through the Java Jazz Festival held that year, so An Evening With John Legend: A Night of Songs And Stories became John Legend's first tour in Indonesia.
Starting his career as a singer since 1997, John Legend has managed to win various major awards, such as three Grammy Awards for his songs entitled All of Me, Glory, and Like I'm Gonna Lose You, a duet with musician Meghan Trainor.
