Min Hee Jin complied with the summons from the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul for questioning regarding allegations of breach of trust reported by HYBE last April 2024. On July 9, 2024 at 2 p.m. KST, Min Hee Jin arrived at the Yongsan Police Station accompanied by her legal counsel.
She appeared casual wearing a simple white shirt and loose pants paired with a navy blue baseball cap. Min Hee Jin showed her calm and relaxed attitude as she walked into the police station. The ADOR CEO underwent eight hours of questioning and came out with a bright and smiling face.
In a short interview session in front of the police station, Min Hee Jin admitted that she took the initiative to undergo the examination because there was a lot to talk about and so that this case could be resolved quickly. "It couldn't possibly be a breach of trust, so actually, from my point of view, it was a comedy.
So I just told the truth," she said. HYBE claims that Min Hee Jin planned to steal management rights from ADOR and is suspected of breach of trust. HYBE stated that they have obtained evidence from related parties to support the claim.
However, Min Hee Jin stated that the seizure of management rights was impossible due to the shareholding structure, and that she had not committed any breach of trust by attempting or taking any action that would damage the company's value.
