SNSD's Seohyun and Ok Taecyeon Considering New Drama Adaptation of Webtoon

Two 2nd generation idols are in talks to star together in a new webtoon-adapted drama. 2PM's Ok Taecyeon and SNSD's Seohyun are expected to be a couple for the drama ' The First Night With the Duke '. Quoting Xports News, Friday July 26, 2024, SNSD's Seohyun and Ok Taecyeon have been chosen as the male and female leads in a new drama. 

'The First Night With the Duke' is planned to air on KBS and both are considering it positively. 'The First Night With the Duke' is a drama with a romantic fantasy genre. It is an adaptation of a web novel by author Hwang Do-tol. It has also been released in webtoon form. Both works in different forms are equally popular.

This drama contains a complicated romance story. The female lead is magically possessed by a supporting character who only has a small role in the novel. Then meet the male main character and accidentally spend the night together. Because of this incident, the male and female main characters will fall in love with each other. 

The drama is scheduled to air on KBS, but the exact time has not been announced yet. In addition, the drama 'The First Night With the Duke' is expected to be changed into a drama with a historical drama format and set in the Joseon Dynasty. Although this drama will feature actors who started their careers as idols, viewers don't need to doubt their acting. 

Because they have also been involved in the acting world and shown their best abilities in various genres. Ok Taecyeon has appeared as the lead in many dramas such as 'Heartbeat', 'Blind', 'Vincenzo', 'Secret Royal Inspector and Joy', as well as his upcoming drama 'Soul Mate'.

Seohyun has established herself as a leading actress through various works such as the films 'The Time', 'Warm and Cozy', 'Private Life', 'Jinx's Lover', and 'Song of the Bandits'.
