Song Ji Hyo and several other ' Running Man ' cast members, such as Ji Suk Jin and HaHa, recently appeared as guests on a talk show hosted by Yoo Jae Suk titled 'Just an Excuse'. On that occasion, they discussed many things including congratulating Song Ji Hyo who has succeeded in becoming a CEO for the brand she launched.
Quoting from Allkpop on Saturday July 13, 2024, Song Ji Hyo said that she will soon launch a new business in the form of her own underwear and perfume brand. "I am currently preparing to launch an underwear and perfume business. The products will be released soon," said Song Ji Hyo.
Hearing the statement, Yoo Jae Suk revealed that his colleague had been preparing for this for a long time. Song Ji Hyo also admitted to having a lot of consultations with Yoo Jae Suk. "I consulted a lot with Yoo Jae Suk for the past 2 years, and asked him when should I launch it? How should I handle it? Now that I'm going through the process, I've learned that running a business is really tough," Song Ji Hyo admitted.
Yoo Jae Suk also said that Ji Hyo's new business is not a collaboration with a particular brand. But, it is purely a brand that she launched herself, and she and her staff worked hard to prepare everything. HaHa on the other hand asked what kind of scent Ji Hyo would launch for her perfume product later.
Ji Hyo successfully invited laughter from everyone by saying that the perfume would definitely smell good. Yoo Jae Suk then touched on another business run by Song Ji Hyo's family and said she was born into a wealthy family. "Because we often discuss the passenger ship business run by Ji Hyo's family, there are rumors circulating that Ji Hyo comes from a wealthy family," Yoo Jae Suk said jokingly.
Ji Hyo shook her head in response and stated that it was not true at all. "That's not true at all. We run the business as a retirement fund preparation for my parents. Before running the passenger ship business, my parents ran a shabu shabu restaurant business," said Ji Hyo.
