WayV recently appeared as guest stars on one of the talk shows hosted by Sal Priadi. Appearing to enliven the music festival 'Allo Bank Festival 2024' on June 22, 2024 in Jakarta, Kun and friends had the opportunity to visit the CXO Media studio to share their exciting experiences while in Jakarta.
Quoting from the CXO Media YouTube channel on Friday July 12, 2024, the talk show with WayV and Sal Pribadi took the title 'You Are Indeed from Another Planet - WayV & Sal Priadi: CXO Special Interview'. This title was chosen inspired by a viral video of WayV members acting funny and strange which was edited by fans using the sound of the song 'Dari Planet Lain'.
Entering the studio, WayV introduced themselves with their Indonesian name. Sal Priadi was not embarrassed to tell why they invited WayV, and played a fan-edited video that made the members laugh out loud. The interview continued with a friendly atmosphere. Sal Priadi also invited WayV members to share their experiences while in Jakarta.
As well as introducing their latest mini album 'Give Me That' which was released last June. Talking about becoming a content creator, the members mentioned what kind of content they would like to do if they pursue that field. Starting from making food vlogs, traveling, to making extreme content like sky diving.
At the end of the content, Sal Priadi did not forget to invite WayV members to follow the trend that is currently popular in Indonesia. One of them is becoming a scene kid and learning some slang. The term "skena kid" itself refers to a slang term for young people who like to hang out, chat, and go for walks. Sal Priadi also gave some accessories to WayV members to look cool like scene kids.
Such as bandanas, tote bags, and cool vests. WayV also learned slang words that fit the language of the scene kids. Such as 'Iya lagi', 'Aman aja', 'Cogan', 'Tajir', 'Sokin Bray', and 'Gacor'. Because of his enthusiasm in learning Indonesian slang, member Xiaojun is addicted to saying the word 'Iya lagi'. The other members are no less enthusiastic and show happy expressions when learning new and exciting things.
