Being under a new agency seems to have made BLACKPINK's Jisoo spread her wings in the acting world. After YG Entertainment made her name big through the girl group BLACKPINK, she decided to establish her own agency for her solo activities and received many acting offers.

As is known, Jisoo has shown her acting skills even though only for a moment in several dramas such as 'The Producers' and 'Arthdal ​​Chronicles'. However, Jisoo really showed her acting with all her might when she played the main character in the Korean drama 'Snowdrop' with Jung Hae In and presented a tragic romance story full of tears.

On August 29, 2024, it was reported through OSEN that Jisoo recently received a casting offer to star in the new drama ' Monthly Boyfriend '. In the drama, she was offered the role of the female lead. In response to the report, Jisoo's agency BLISSOO stated, " We are currently reviewing the offer. 

" So it can be concluded that Jisoo has not made any decision regarding her role in 'Monthly Boyfriend'. Jisoo is expected to delve into acting and start actively getting roles in films and dramas. Like her appearance as a cameo in the film 'Dr. Cheon and the Los Talisman'. 

She appeared briefly as a fairy in the film and gave the audience a surprise. Furthermore, Jisoo has also completed filming the film 'Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint' which also stars top artists. 

Such as Ahn Hyo Seop, Nana, Chae Soo Bin, Lee Min Ho, and Park Ho San. Viewers just need to wait for the broadcast. In addition, Jisoo has also just been confirmed to play a role in her latest zombie drama titled 'Newtopia' with Park Jung Min.  

The drama is scheduled to air in 2025 and is currently in the filming process. Since February 2024, Jisoo launched a new agency company called BLISSOO for her solo activities, becoming the third BLACKPINK member to establish her own personal label.  

However, Jisoo did not leave YG, as she continued her group activities under BLACKPINK's agency YG Entertainment. Jisoo is pursuing her career as an actress under BLISSOO, where her older brother Kim Jung Hoon serves as CEO.
