BTS's Jin has been named the latest global brand ambassador for Italian luxury brand Gucci. As reported by Billboard on Thursday August 8, 2024, the announcement of Jin's selection as Gucci's latest global brand ambassador was officially announced on Wednesday August 7, 2024.
In his statement, Gucci's creative director, Sabato De Sarna, conveyed his warm welcome to Jin joining as their global brand ambassador. "I am very happy to welcome BTS's Jin as a global brand ambassador," said Sabato De Sarna. He continued, "Jin has a warm and kind attitude that really captivates everyone's hearts.
Not only that, he also has a unique style. Jin is also a generous and amazing artist, who is able to move everyone's hearts through his music. We are very honored to be able to work with him." Celebrating the addition of BTS's Jin as their newest global brand ambassador, Gucci also shared a number of photos of the idol in luxurious Gucci clothing.
From a number of photos that have been shared, the idol born in 1992 appears elegant in a formal Gucci shirt, with a trendy touch combined with shoes and a shirt in bright colors. In another picture, Jin is seen looking seriously at the camera wearing a shirt with a brightly patterned collar.
On the other hand, Jin's announcement as Gucci's newest global brand ambassador was released following the idol's journey to the 2024 Paris Olympics as one of South Korea's representatives as an Olympic torchbearer.
Meanwhile, news of Jin joining as a Gucci ambassador has been circulating on social media after Gucci was seen sending a gift to Jin as a congratulatory message for the 31-year-old idol's release from his mandatory military service last June 2024.
Now that he has been officially announced as the global brand ambassador for luxury brand Gucci, Jin joins other BTS members who have also represented a number of other luxury brands as global brand ambassadors.
