Fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger, part of PVH Corp., has tapped global musician and actor Jisoo to appear in the brand's fall 2024 advertising campaign. Jisoo, who is an actress and a member of the idol group BLACKPINK, has appeared in various Tommy Hilfiger advertising campaigns set in New York City.
In one of the campaigns, Jisoo poses on a double-decker bus that passes through iconic locations in New York City. Jisoo is seen wearing clothes that resemble a classic school uniform (preppie look) from Tommy Hilfiger's fall 2024 collection, including a wool coat, striped cardigan and denim skirt.
The campaign was photographed by Peter Ash and will air digitally. "Partnering with Tommy is a dream come true," said Jisoo. "I am so excited that by taking my own path, I have arrived in New York with the icon of the city, Mr. Tommy Hilfiger himself.
Tommy's latest collection combines femininity with a modern sensibility that is very much who I am." "Jisoo is an undeniable force in the K-pop world," said Tommy Hilfiger. Tommy believes that Jisoo has the confidence, poise, and strong presence that makes her stand out and has her own unique classy style.
"She is the ideal ambassador for our new collection of classic fashions, and I am thrilled to welcome her to the Tommy family.” Jisoo began her career with K-pop group Blackpink before moving on to a career as a singer and actor.
She walked Hilfiger's spring 2025 runway show during New York Fashion Week on the now-defunct Staten Island Ferry, and will star in the 2025 K-Drama “Newtopia.” Jisoo is popular in the fashion industry, having served as the face of brands such as Dyson, Alo Yoga, Self-Portrait, Dior Beauty, and Cartier.
