Son Suk Ku was a guest star on the JTBC program "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator" on February 9, 2025. On that occasion, the actor born in 1983 surprised fans by sharing some unexpected facts about his daily life. One of them is the fact that Suk Ku does not have a car, despite being a popular actor.
He shared, " Hyun Bong Sok always comes to pick me up. I usually take a taxi or walk. If it's within 5 km, I walk." Suk Ku caused even more surprises when he revealed that he had walked quite a distance. The actor said, "I even walked from Hannam-dong to Gaepo-dong."
A shocked host Kim Sung Joo exclaimed, "I thought you were driving a sports car!" During the event, Suk Ku also talked about his very introverted nature. "When I eat alone at a restaurant, I get too embarrassed to call the staff, so I just raise my hand and wait," said the "A Killer Paradox" star.
"If no one is paying attention, I'll stand up and order by myself," Suk Ku added. This statement was immediately confirmed by Hyun Bong Sok who said, "When we eat together, he asks me to order for him." Suk Ku also confessed that he felt awkward addressing restaurant staff informally.
"I wanted to call them 'Auntie,' but it felt weird because they're not my real family. I don't think I've ever used that word," Suk Ku shared. Chef Kwon Sung Joon responded to this by revealing that he once had trouble pressing the stop button on the bus.
Suk Ku laughed and said, "I totally understand that." Fans also got to hear more about Suk Ku and Bong Sok's close friendship, which began on the set of Netflix's "DP." Bong Sok recalled, "I played a military police commander, so I had to be strict with him."
Suk Ku admitted, "At first, it was awkward, but after working on four projects together, we became close. Bong Sok is like a cheat code.
